“Ether oil” proposal won the first prize from “Erdem Hakaton 2019”

“Erdem hakaton 2019- Health and Food Security”, organized by Mongolian Academy of Sciences together with Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports and “Start-up” non-profit organization, during Mongolian Innovation Week has successfully completed with eleven innovative proposals prepared by the teams participated from research institutes, universities and private organizations.

On a Demo day, the organizing committee has announced the winners as below:

First place – “Ether oil” proposal prepared by the researchers from Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology (ICCT), MAS. The proposal presents the technology to isolate ether oil from plants and to further prepare the healthy food products using the isolated ether oil.

Second place – “Food supplement for the prevention of diabetes” and “Cultivation of mushrooms in Khentii mountain” proposals.
